Communication and photography:
Please follow Edgewater Cove Parents page for updates on what we're learning in class and photos of all the fun we're having! Only parents of currently enrolled students will be able to follow this account. This will also give you a chance to connect with other parents if desired. 

 

A group me text thread will be created for each individual class as a means of additional communication.
 

Bathroom Policy
Students must be potty-trained and able to use the bathroom without assistance. In the event of an accident (totally normal at this age!) parents will be required to come assist the child depending on the severity and if the child is able to change clothes themselves without creating a larger issue. Please pack an extra set of clothes in their backpacks. 

Sick Child Policy:

Keep your child home is he/she:

• has been throwing up or had diarrhea in the last 48 hours

• has a fever or rash

• has untreated head lice or pink-eye, hand foot mouth, etc

• is generally not feeling well or there is sickness going around the family such as flu or stomach bug

• In general, please be considerate of me, my family and other children when making these tough decisions :) 

If antibiotics have been prescribed, please follow doctors guidance on when child is safe to return. This is generally 24 hours after the first dose.

Liability
The safety and health of your children are a top priority and extensive effort will be made to ensure a safe environment. A liabiliy waiver will be required to be signed at enrollment.
